For a long time, I've been telling myself that whatever I do to make a living, it has to include writing, (fictional preferably) because it's one of the things I love to do. It feels like it's part of me, and I have a fascination with the ability to create entire worlds and possibilities by using words- syllables and sounds that have somehow come to have meaning to us. I began writing novels in grade 5 but they were always short, and extremely predictable and boring- with flat characters and little to no development. In grade 6, I tried writing a realistic fiction novel, but after a few months of writing, I realized that I wasn't really going
